What boxes should I use to ship Poshmark items?

One of the best things about Poshmark is that they make it simple to ship out items.  Everything is shipped via USPS (United States Postal Service).  I highly encourage you to get your own PO Box so that you don't have strangers knowing where you live with a street address.  I drop off everything I sell on my way to work at a very small post office.  If I have a package that I'm waiting on, they have a series of larger boxes and place a key in your PO Box so that you know that you have something.

I highly recommend going online and setting up a USPS account.  You can order FREE supplies and have them delivered to your home in case you cannot make it to the post office.  Poshmark recommends that you do NOT use the flat rate boxes.  They have "Flat Rate" marked on the side of them.  Instead, use the plain Priority Mail Boxes and Tyvek Envelopes.  The Tyvek envelopes are non-cardboard and can be used to ship out clothing.  You can also use your own plain padded envelopes or boxes.  However, I highly suggest using the FREE boxes from the USPS so it doesn't eat into your profits.

How do you make money selling clothes on Poshmark?

Hello there!  Have you ever wanted to be able to afford name brand clothing but not at the price that you see on the tag? A lot of times, you can luck out on a sale in the store.  If you are a Plus Size clothing shopper like me, you know that stores are hours away.  So buy the time you go to the store, a lot of times they don't even have your size in stock.  Or if you do buy something and later change your mind, you are stuck with the purchase unless you drive back to the store.

Now you can buy and sell through a website and app called Poshmark.  I have been on Poshmark for a few months.  I have personally purchased and sold items on Poshmark that normally would be a hassle to deal with traveling to the store.  I use to deal with local buy, sell, trade groups, only to be stood up by the buyer or if they do meet, they want to lowball you on the price.  It was a waste of my time and money.  I have ended up making a lot more money selling on Poshmark with less hassle.

There are steps into selling on Poshmark.  First, you need to download the app on your phone.  You will take photos of the item, with one being a cover photo to draw attention to your item. When you make a sale on Poshmark, they provide you with a pre-paid, pre-addressed label, all ready to be put on the box. Once your sale has been packaged, you can drop it off to the Post Office.  Unlike Ebay where you have to figure out shipping costs, Poshmark does that for you.  You get your money for the sale when the buyer "accepts the package" or on the 4th day upon confirmed receipt.
